Restarting the tyre pressure monitor

Requirements:

• The recommended tyre pressure is correctly set for the respective operating condition on each of the wheels.

• Restart the tyre pressure monitoring system in the following situations:

• The tyre pressure has changed.
• The wheels or tyres have been changed or newly fitted.

On-board computer:

► Service ► Tyres

► Scroll down in the menu.

► The Use current pressures as new reference
values? message appears in the multifunction
display.

► Confirm the message to initiate a restart.

The Tyre press. monitor restarted message appears in the multifunction display.

Current warning messages are deleted and the flat tyre yellow warning lamp goes out.

After you have driven for a few minutes, the system checks whether the current tyre pressures are within the specified range. The current tyre pressures are then accepted as reference values and monitored.
